Lower raceway thrust bearing is a tapered roller bearing, providing exceptionally smooth and easy swiveling action that counteracts radial thrust. This caster rig is equipped with a 2-9/16" bearing raceway and 3/8" ball bearings, both of which are precisely machined and hardened. Die casted springs with a total compression at maximum weight of 1". The compression range can be adjusted by changing the springs. This rig also has a 3/4" integrally forged kingpin, 1/2" axle and a zinc plated finish.
The mold-on rubber aluminum wheel is a lightweight alternative to the traditional cast iron core, providing the same load capacity with a cushioned tread and an attractive look.
